Happy 5th Birthday to My Landscape Photography Blog

A Promise Kept

On the 30th of August 2016, I started The Exposed Blog with my first post “We all have to start somewhere…”. I started the blog (and my website) with the goal of sharing my journey as a landscape photographer. As well as being able to share my adventures, writing a blog was going to be a fantastic way to keep my website fresh with new content. Constantly capturing 5-star images to regularly update my portfolio page was never going to be practical, so a blog would allow me to share all my images (good and bad!)

There’s little point in starting a blog unless you are going to keep posting content, so I made myself a promise that I would publish a new blog post every week. I’m pleased to say, and I can’t quite believe it, but I kept that promise! There are now 280 blog posts on The Exposed Blog. That’s a lot of content and you can see all of it right here.

Thank You!

I won’t pretend that publishing a new blog post every week has been easy. I’d sometimes find myself with many weeks’ worth of posts ready to publish and other times I’d be wondering what I was going to share that week. What has kept me going is the support of people like you. The people that read my blog. Over 40,000 of you have viewed over 100,000 pages! It means so much to me to know that people enjoy my blog and website. Every year more and more of you visit.

Stay Tuned

There are plenty of ways to be kept up to date on my landscape photography adventures. You can visit this website when you can, or you can subscribe to the blog’s RSS feed, or perhaps the best way is to sign up for my newsletter. This also gives you access to my free landscape photography locations map!

Let Me Know What You Think

Finally, I’d be really interested to hear your thoughts on my blog. What do you like (or dislike)? Do you have a favourite post? What would you like to see more of or less of? Let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.

I’ve got plenty of new blog posts in the works so stay tuned to The Exposed Blog and thank you for your support!
